PYP Teacher Grades 2 and 3
The
International School of Phnom Penh is an IB school running all three programs.
The student
body is comprised of both international and local students.
Key
Responsibilities
- Planning
and implementing creative learning engagements in keeping with the IB PYP
Framework and ISPP Scope and Sequence and the Common Core (Mathematics)
- Working
together with students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, languages and
learning abilities.
- Collaborative planning with colleagues across the curriculum to allow for trans-disciplinary learning.
- Recording, analyzing and assessing student progress in a variety of formats for a range of purposes.
- Sharing student progress with students and parents through interviews, conferences, blogs, portfolios, and written reports.
Additional Responsibilities
- Developing and reviewing math curriculum in line with Common Core Standards including building a resource base for teachers, designing assessment and running teacher workshops.
- IPad
pilot project, using the SAMR model to implement the use of new
technologies and multimedia resources across the curriculum.
- Mentoring
